Point Burger JG, at 2021 Revere Beach Parkway, Everett, MA, uses the information needed to serve you, prepare orders and answer questions. To ask about your information, contact us on WhatsApp (857) 353-1025.
1. Information you provide
- WhatsApp phone number: used to identify you, your conversation and your orders.
- Name: when you provide it.
- Address and city: only if you choose delivery.
- Payment method and change: your choice of Zelle or cash and any change you need.
- Order notes: changes, instructions and any dietary restrictions you tell us about.
Our bot does not request an email address, although the system has a field for one. We do not ask for card numbers, passwords, authentication codes or bank login details.
2. Information created during service
- Orders: items, notes, amounts, delivery or pickup, status and dates.
- Conversations: message text and information interpreted by artificial intelligence to support the conversation.
- Payment records: amount, method, who cleared the order and when the receipt arrived. Receiving a receipt alone does not confirm that payment cleared.
- AI usage: daily token usage and cost, without personal information in those usage records.
Automated interpretations can be wrong. You can request a correction or ask to speak with a person on WhatsApp.
3. Why we use information
We use this information to answer you, confirm and prepare orders, deliver when requested, check payments, handle cancellations and complaints, keep our service secure and meet applicable obligations. Providing your number for an order does not by itself authorize marketing messages.
Service may use artificial intelligence and audio transcription. A team member may take over, and you can ask to speak with a person.
4. Payment receipt images and audio
Zelle receipts
Our application reads the receipt image temporarily in memory, forwards it to the restaurantās WhatsApp and discards the temporary copy. The application does not keep its own image file. The forwarded image may remain on the restaurantās WhatsApp, on devices or in those servicesā backups. Our payment records retain only the details needed for verification for the period below.
Audio messages
Our application transcribes audio and discards its temporary copy. The transcript may remain in the conversation history. The original audio sent on WhatsApp may remain on that platform or on devices, depending on their settings.
A receipt may contain details added by your bank. Before sending it, you may hide information that is not needed to verify the transaction, while leaving essential payment details visible.
5. How long we keep information
Orders
Order history, linked to the phone number used for service, is currently kept without a set end date as a business record. We may review whether it is still needed and delete or de-identify information when there is no longer a reason to keep it, subject to legal obligations and applicable rights.
Conversations
Conversation history in our database is limited. Older records are deleted automatically. This does not delete orders or messages that may remain on WhatsApp, devices or third-party backups.
Payment records
Specific payment verification records ā method, amount, person who cleared the order and the time the receipt arrived ā are kept for 15 days. Order details such as total amount and status follow the order retention rule above.
AI usage
Daily token and cost records do not identify customers. This does not apply to conversation content processed for service.
6. Sharing and external services
Information needed to serve you may be accessed by our team and providers of WhatsApp, hosting, automation, artificial intelligence, transcription and delivery, when used for your order. Authorities may receive information when required by law.
The site loads Google Fonts, uses styling resources served by third parties and shows an embedded Google map on the home page. These services may receive technical visit data, such as your IP address and browser details, under their own policies. WhatsApp and Zelle also involve their respective services and institutions.
The site does not currently use its own behavioral advertising or visitor analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this policy and, when required, ask for your choice before activating them.
7. Processing outside Brazil and your rights
The restaurant operates in the United States. Communications and technology providers may process information in other countries. Where the Brazilian LGPD applies, we will follow the applicable rules for international transfers and personal data processing.
You may request information about your data, access, correction or deletion, as provided by applicable law. You can also question automatically interpreted information and ask to speak with a person. We will respond based on the data we control and explain when information must be kept for a legal obligation or another valid reason.
To protect your information, we may verify your identity in a proportionate way. We will never ask for a bank password or authentication code to handle a privacy request.
8. Security and updates
We limit access to information to the people and services needed to serve you. No system eliminates every security risk. If a significant incident occurs, we will take the steps required by applicable law.
This policy may change when our services or data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
Send your request on WhatsApp (857) 353-1025 and include the phone number used for your orders.
